Blizzard te regala Diablo III por jugar a World of Warcraft
Con el advenimiento de la sombra de Deathwing sobre Azeroth y los reinos mortales de Sanctuary armándose de valor para la guerra contra las fuerzas de Diablo, el bono anual de World of Warcraft ofrece la posibilidad de participar en ambos conflictos apocalípticos... sin reventar la banca.
Durante un tiempo limitado, los jugadores que realicen una suscripción de doce meses a World of Warcraft tendrán la posibilidad de descargar gratuitamente Diablo III a través de Battle.net (evidentemente la versión full, no un trial). Ahora bien, ¿es ésta una oferta digna de ser considerada o se trata de un burdo intento de mantener WoW a flote cuando salgan el D3 y futuros MMORPG como Star Wars o Tera? Analicémoslo...
En primer lugar veamos la oferta al completo: se trata de pagar los aproximadamente 120 € que cuesta la suscripción anual de World of Warcraft (en dos cuotas), y te regalan el Diablo 3, una montura in-game y acceso a la próxima beta de la expansión de WoW Mists of Pandaria, donde se puede jugar con Kung Fu Panda.
Haciendo cuentas...
El Diablo III todavía no tiene fecha oficial de salida al mercado, pero se sabe que su lanzamiento tendrá lugar a principios del 2012. Aún no sabemos, por tanto, cuánto va a costar, pero podemos estimar su precio entre los 60 y 70 €. Además, y para ponernos todavía más difícil la decisión, Blizzard ha anunciado que el mismo día que se ponga a la venta el Diablo III estará disponible también la edición coleccionista, que probablemente pase de los 100 € dado que va a ser realmente completa.
Por su parte, las monturas rondan los 15 € en la store de Blizzard, mientras que a la beta de Mists of Pandaria no se le puede poner precio, ya que de momento esta suscripción es la única forma de obtener acceso a la misma (pero no os preocupéis, seguro que en el futuro aparecen más).
Viendo los precios el ahorro parece importante. El quid de la oferta reside en lo que todos sospechamos: ¿quién va a tener tiempo para jugar a WoW y Diablo III a la vez? Igual cuando tengamos el Diablo III entre manos no queremos jugar a otra cosa...

Si juegas al World of Warcraft
Si eres jugador de WoW y vas a seguir jugando, lo único que te piden es que te comprometas a continuar pagando un año entero (no es tan descabellado) y te regalan el Diablo III, la montura y el acceso a la beta. Si además te gustaría tener la edición coleccionista del D3, pues te la compras y te regalan cuatro meses de suscripción a WoW.
Oferta (120 €) = 12 meses de WoW + montura + acceso a la beta de Mists of Pandaria + Diablo III
Oferta + ed. col. (230 € aprox.) = 16 meses de WoW + montura + acceso a la beta + Diablo III ed. coleccionista
Si no juegas al World of Warcraft
Si no eres jugador de World of Warcraft, sólo te compensa la oferta si te planteas jugar a WoW hasta que salga el Diablo III (piensa que pueden ser cuatro o cinco meses, que si te suscribieras y después compraras el D3 ya te saldría casi por 120 € pero no ganas la montura ni el acceso a la beta).
Oferta (120 €) = jugar 4 ó 5 meses a WoW + montura + beta de Mists of Pandaria + Diablo III cuando salga
WoW + Diablo III (110 € aprox.) = jugar 4 ó 5 meses a WoW + Diablo III cuando salga
