Nintendo es la compañía de videojuegos que más factura en Japón
EnterBrain y Famitsu han publicado hoy un estudio sobre los ingresos derivados de la venta de software en Japón. Las cifras son hablan por sí solas: Nintendo es la compañía que más factura en el país nipón, acaparando un 27.8 % del capital invertido en videojuegos durante el mes de mayo. Le sigue de cerca Capcom, mientras que las demás apenas llegan al 10 %.
Parece que la salud económica de Nintendo en Japón está fuera de toda duda. Este es el segundo mes consecutivo que se proclama como la empresa con más ingresos por venta de software. A pesar de que tan sólo ha sido capaz de colar un juego en el top ten de títulos más vendidos, 'Mario Tennis Open', ha sabido acompañarlo con secundarios de lujo como 'Mario Party 9', 'Fire Emblem Awakening', 'Kid Icarus Uprising' y 'Super Mario 3D Land'.
'Dragon's Dogma' sostiene sobre sus espaldas el segundo puesto de Capcom, ya que ha sido, con mucho, el juego más vendido de mayo en Japón. Contribuye también a esta posición de privilegio 'Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City', que tras haber sido estrenado en abril mantiene un elevado nivel de ventas.
He aquí el gráfico hecho público por Famitsu. Quitando Nintendo, Capcom y Namco Bandai, el resto de compañías ni siquiera superan el 5 %, lo que da una idea de cómo de fragmentado se encuentra actualmente el mercado en el país asiático.

Viendo los excelentes registros que está alcanzando la compañía liderada por Satoru Iwata en territorio nipón, todavía nos extraña más su decisión de no comparecer en el Tokio Game Show que se celebrará en la capital el próximo septiembre. ¿Acaso pretenden mantenerse exclusivamente tirando de viejos conocidos, sin presentar nuevos proyectos?
