Ninja Blade se ha calificado como un juego de acción y aventura, desarrollado por From Software (Los creadores de Otogi) exclusivamente para Xbox 360. Se dice del juego que es una mezcla de cine y videojuego de acción, en el que se combinan una serie de elementos de ambos contextos.
