Según cuenta el directivo, Nintendo sería la única compañía que ha decidido invertir en el futuro de la segunda secuela del juego. Después del abandono de Sega como editora de la saga, la segunda parte de esta historia pendía de un hilo. En ese momento el gigante nipón mostró su apoyo hacía la creación de 'Bayonetta 2' y esa es la única explicación de que el juego se esté desarrollando en exclusiva para Wii U.
Por lo que nos guste o no, si la que pone el dinero para que la plantilla que se encarga del desarrollo cobre es Nintendo, pues hay poco que hacer. Bueno si convencer a los inversores que el juego tiene potencial para que llegue a otras plataformas, pero eso no será fácil. Y menos en estos momentos que parece que todo el mundo tira un poco para atrás de los gastos, cubriendose las espaldas para que los trabajos que se realicen lleguen a buen puerto. Por lo pronto 'Bayonetta 2' se quedará sin ninguna otra versión a parte de la de Wii U.
