Así lo ha afirmado Infinity Ward en unas declaraciones hechas en relación al número de ventas del juego con su predecesor el Call of Duty4: Modern Warfare durante su primera semana semana en el mercado.
Al parecer no es que la edición para Pc del Modern Warfare 2 se venda poco, sino que su versión para consolas tiene tanto tirón que solo les deja un escaso 3% de ventas.
"La versión para PC de Modern Warfare 2 ha vendido más que la versión para PC de Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare en su primera semana". Esta nota publicada en el tablón de anuncios de la compañía venía como replica de unas afirmaciones anteriores en las que publicaban que la versión de ordenador del juego únicamente mantenía el 3% del total de ventas.
De esta manera confirmaban que el nuevo Modern Warfare 2 había superado con creces las expectativas puestas en su versión para Pc. Pero, en superventas como este, la consola es la mejor de las compañeras.
