30 años de Tetris
El pasado viernes 6 de junio, se cumplieron nada menos que tres décadas del lanzamiento del genial Tetris.
Felicidades al juego de puzzles favorito de toda una generación.
Tres décadas se dicen pronto, pero llegar a esa edad en los videojuegos no es nada fácil. Más complicado se hace aún que los jugadores recuerden un título tan veterano y que siga de actualidad en consolas y dispositivos móviles.
El 6 de junio de 1984, Alekséi Pázhitnov publicaba Tetris para la computadora Electronika 60 (un clon soviético de las computadoras PDP-11). Al poco tiempo se portaba a IBM PC y ahí comenzó la leyenda.
El juego ha sido publicado en más de 50 plataformas diferentes, con distintas variantes en cuanto a gráficos y efectos. Sin embargo siempre se ha conservado la originalidad y frescura de un título endiabladamente adictivo, guardando la esencia del desarrollo inicial de Alekséi Pázhitnov.
A lo largo de la vida del juego se contabilizan millones de copias vendidas, pero el éxito sigue vigente ... en plataformas móviles ya se han superado los 425 millones de descargas.
