'Mistborn' da el paso de las novelas a un juego RPG
Little Orbit el equipo de desarrolladores de 'Sherlock Holmes: Mysteries' han anunciado oficialmente que están inmersos en la difícil tarea de llevar la trilogía de novelas fantásticas escritas por Brandon Sanderson a juego RPG. Además el propio Sanderson participará en el proyecto de contar las historias en sus libros, pero esta vez con personajes y escenarios adaptados para su disfrute visual en las consolas de sobremesa. 'Mistborn: Birthright' llegaría para el 2013 a PS3, Xbox 360, Mac y PC.
Todavía es pronto para hablar de datos relacionados con este proyecto, lo poco que se ha desvelado es que estará disponible para las las tres grandes plataformas y que será un RPG, igual los que os halláis leído alguno de sus libros podéis haceros una idea más concreta de los acontecimientos de las sagas de fantasía de Sanderson.
El propio Sanderson mostraba su entusiasmo con el proyecto
"Como jugador ávido que soy estoy muy emocionado por esta oportunidad", declaró el propio Sanderson. "La oportunidad de escribir una historia para un juego de Mistborn a la vez que trabajo con un equipo de desarrolladores con tanto talento es vivir un sueño".
Las novelas Mistborn se establecen en un mundo oscuro dominado por un villano conocido como Lord Ruler. Además, el mundo de la Mistborn cuenta con un sistema de magia llamado "Allomancy" que temporalmente mejora las capacidades físicas y mentales de sus usuarios mediante la ingestión y la "quema" las escamas de metal. Allomancy usuarios que sólo pueden quemar un solo metal se llaman nebulizaciones y los usuarios que pueden quemar todos los metales que se conoce como Mistborn.
