'Xbox LITE' podría presentarse por sorpresa en el E3 2012
Según comentan los chicos de Techradar que Microsoft podría estar pensando en desarrollar una nueva plataforma más sencilla, económica y la anunciaría en el próximo E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo de Los Ángeles), después de la confirmación de que no había planes de llevar al evento ni presentar este año la nueva plataforma de grandes posibilidades, la que todo el mundo nombra como "la Xbox 720". Como ya hizo Sony con la PSP Go lanzaría la 'Xbox LITE'.
La Xbox LITE estaría enfocada para desarrollar el potencial de los interesantes catálogos de la Xbox Arcade y los juegos de Kinect, tendría compatibilidad con los juegos de la 360 pero carecería de lector de DVD, potenciando el uso de los medios digitales por medio de las descargas. La idea es que se exprima todo el jugo al grandísimo contenido de juegos con el que cuenta la pagina oficial de Xbox.
Estaría construida con materiales de última generación con un peso menor y un tamaño mucho mas pequeña que la plataforma de sobremesa, esto se conseguiría gracias a los nuevos tamaños de las piezas que la tecnología de hoy día puede conseguir y a cuenta de suprimir el reproductor de discos físicos, y lo más importante de todo es que se lanzaría con un precio inferior a los 100€. Eso si que sería un gran hándicap, la pregunta que yo me hago ¿Cómo lo conseguirán?.
Microsoft sigue pensando que este es el gran año de Xbox 360
Pese a todos los rumores que rodean a la compañía Microsoft ellos dicen que este será el mejor año para la Xbox 360 y que sólo piensan en disfrutar cosechando éxitos con su consola actual:
"Este año nos dedicaremos a celebrar el gran momento de Xbox 360. Con Halo 4, Forza Horizon, Fable The Journey y otros grandes juegos de Kinect que aún están por llegar, nuestro listado de lanzamiento se antoja impresionante. Además, llevaremos toda la música, películas y juegos de Xbox 360 a Windows 8, de tal forma que nuestros usuarios puedan disfrutar de todo su entretenimiento sin importar donde estén."
Pues los rumores parece ser que no cesan en el entorno de Xbox, que os parece ¿ Sería rentable desarrollar una consola más barata? o por el contrario pensáis como yo, que es mejor que se centren en la nueva plataforma de nueva generación, consumiendo todos los recursos y las ideas en colocar en el mercado una Xbox ??? (como la llamen) con unas características acordes con los tiempos y con las demandas de los juegos actuales.
