'Diablo III' confirma su salida en consolas
Una de las sorpresas de la noche se produjo cuando Chris Metzen, Vicepresidente de desarrollo creativo en Blizzard Entertainment, se subía al escenario para presentar algo relacionado con la compañía. La rumoreada salida de ‘Diablo III’ para consolas acababa de ser confirmada.
Desde antes incluso de que se produjese el lanzamiento de ‘Diablo III’ para PC y Mac, los rumores sobre la salida del juego para las consolas ya habían comenzado a surgir por la red. Todo parece indicar que Blizzard llevaba bastante tiempo con idea de desarrollar estas versiones.
Uno de los problemas que puede tener la compañía con el lanzamiento de ‘Diablo III’ en consolas tiene que ver con la adaptación de los controles. La compañía ya está trabajando para ofrecer una sensación similar a lo que hemos sentido con el teclado y el ratón, aunque todavía habrá que esperar para conocer más detalles.
‘Diablo III’ no será exclusivo de la consola de Sony por lo que seguramente lo veamos en otras plataformas (Xbox, Xbox 720) además de en PS3 y PS4. De la poca información que se ha dado podemos destacar el modo cooperativo local que incluirá el juego, el cual que permitirá jugar en una misma pantalla hasta 4 jugadores simultáneamente.
Fran Pearce, Co-fundador de Blizzard, ha comentado el anuncio de ‘Diablo III’:
“Estamos llevando a cabo un duro trabajo para adaptar ‘Diablo III’ a PS3 y PS4. Todas las mejoras que hemos hecho para las versiones de PC desde el lanzamiento del juego serán incluidas. Y por encima de todo está el hecho de que estamos reprogramando por completo la interfaz, los controles, y la cámara, con lo que el tradicional estilo de Diablo de machaca-corta, saquea-recoge, mazmorra- repta, lo viviréis de un modo natural y divertido con un mando en vuestras manos.”
“Sé que muchos os haréis un montón de preguntas sobre el juego, y trataremos de contestarlas a medida que avanza el desarrollo del juego. Por ahora, solo quiero dar las gracias a todos los que nos habéis estado animando para volver al formato de consola, y por favor, no olvidéis que el juego estará presente en la PAX East.“
