En Runic Games no están preocupados por el lanzamiento de ‘Diablo 3’
La semana pasada se anunciaba que el esperado juego de Blizzard se pondría a la venta el próximo 15 de mayo. Por fin tenemos la fecha de lanzamiento del juego y los primeros analistas, se aventuraban a decir que el juego llegaría a los 5 millones de unidades vendidas durante el primer año.
Sin embargo, el estudio Runic Games no teme que el lanzamiento de ‘Diablo 3’ pueda afectar a la segunda parte de su Action RPG ‘Tochlight’, que actualmente se encuentra en desarrollo y que tienen pensado publicar a lo largo de este año. Hay que recordar que el estudio cuenta con varios de los responsables de la saga ‘Diablo’.
Runic Games ha querido salir al paso y tranquilizar a todos los fans que se encontraban preocupados por esto, y que lo habían manifestado en los foros. A continuación podéis leer las declaraciones realizadas por el estudio:
“Sabemos que muchos de nuestros fans están preocupados por nosotros. Hemos escuchado lo que teníais que decir y el equipo ha tenido discusiones similares”
“Sin embargo, hemos comenzado el desarrollo de Torchlight en 2008, cuando el desarrollo de Diablo 3 ya estaba en marcha. Esto no ha sido motivo para que no hayamos creado nuestro RPG. Teníamos el compromiso de crear un título que enamorase al jugar. Esto es lo mas importante para nosotros y por eso vamos a trabajar duro todos los días”
“Hemos optado por una pequeña plantilla de 32 personas, y queremos ser una compañía que trabaje con ganas y esfuerzo, ya que hacemos algo que nos encanta”
Las declaraciones de Runic Games terminan con una felicitación al equipo de Blizzard por el anuncio del lanzamiento de ‘Diablo 3’, ya que consideran que ha sido un largo camino para ellos. 'Torchlight 2' tenía pensado salir a finales del año pasado, pero finalmente sufrió un ligero retraso y de momento no conocemos cual será la fecha de lanzamiento.
