Un grupo de empresas desarrolladoras se ponen de acuerdo para ofrecer sus juegos de manera conjunta en un pack. Hasta aquí nada nuevo. Pero ese pack no va a tener un precio fijo, si no que tú puedes pagar lo que quieras. Desde un céntimo de dolar hasta varios millones si te apetece. Aquí cada uno pagará lo que crea justo. El precio del pack recae totalmente en el consumidor delegándole a él el papel de decidir cuanto está dispuesto a pagar por ello.
Para fomentar que la gente no se 'pase de lista' y pague solamente un céntimo, si pagas al menos un dolar puedes disponer de los juegos en Steam. Y para aumentar un poquito más el precio general, si pagas por el pack un poco más de la media de lo que han pagado el resto de compradores, te llevas un par de juegos exclusivos. Así, tu pagas lo que quieres, pero si pagas un poquito más vas obteniendo ventajas.
De esta manera, normalmente por menos de 5€ consigues desde verdaderas joyas independientes hasta juegos triple A de EA, Epic o THQ. Un lujazo.
